ACSI Volunteers with Connecting Kids to Meals

Connecting Kids to Meals (formerly, Feed Lucas County Children) is a local non profit organization in Toledo, Ohio. Their mission is to provide nutritious meals, at no cost, to children in low-income, and underserved, areas throughout the year.
In March, a group of ACSI employees headed downtown, to their warehouse, where these meals are put together. After a tour of the facility, the group of ACSI volunteers got to work and assembled around 500 packets. The meal packets included an assortment of snacks and breakfast items for children to have over the weekend. Steve Nixon, and ACSI, made a donation, to Connecting Kids to Meals, to cover the costs of the meal package items.
