About Our Company

Advanced Control Solutions, Inc. was founded in 1992 by President and owner, Steve Nixon. With nearly 30 years of experience in the glass industry, he saw the need for a company that could deliver cost effective solutions for this market. ACSI leveraged the emergence of programmable logic controllers (PLC)/human-machine interface (HMI) solutions for temperature control in place of more costly distributed control systems (DCS) and became one of the first companies to successfully execute control of a glass furnace from a PLC.

ACSI remains a recognized leader in the Glass Industry for our exceptional glass process knowledge.
